Canada Post operations remain suspended due to the ongoing labor dispute with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW). This nationwide disruption continues to affect mail and parcel services across Canada, including deliveries for Skechers.ca customers. 


Current Service Status

  • Mail and parcels: No processing or delivery during the disruption
  • Post offices: Many locations remain closed
  • New shipments: Not being accepted until operations resume
  • Existing parcels: Secured in postal facilities; will be delivered once service resumes
  • Service guarantees: Suspended for all items currently in the postal network

Please note: Even after the strike ends, it may take several days or weeks for Canada Post to clear backlogs and return to normal delivery schedules.


Impact on Skechers.ca Orders and Returns:

1. Shipping Delays to Rural Areas and P.O. Boxes:

  • Canada Post is our exclusive carrier for these destinations
  • Orders will be held securely and shipped once postal service resumes. 
  • Expect additional delays as Canada Post works through accumulated backlogs.
  • Alternatively, please feel free to email us to provide an alternate shipping address to deliver to. 


2. Returns Process - Updated Policies:

    We've implemented the following measures to help during this disruption:

    Extended Return Windows:

  • Standard accounts: 75 days (extended from 30 days)
  • Skechers Plus members: 90 days

    Return Instructions:

  • ⚠️ Do NOT create return labels until Canada Post operations resume
  • ⚠️ Do NOT drop off packages at Canada Post locations during the strike
  • Hold onto your items until we announce postal service has resumed
  • This prevents lost packages and expired return labels

    Special Payment Method Note:

  • Klarna orders must be returned by mail for refunds to original payment method
  • In-store returns are not accepted for Klarna purchases


3. Alternative: In-Store Returns

    Available in most provinces:

  • Return window: 60 days from purchase date
  • Instant refund to original payment method
  • Not available in: Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Exclusions: Items received in error, Klarna payments
  • Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable
