At Skechers we want you to feel confident standing behind our products, and we understand that an important part of that is developing quality products that you would expect from our company.

 

If you have a quality concern with your recently purchased Skechers shoes within 1 year they may be eligible for inspection.

 

Please note the manufacturer’s date on the inside of the shoe tag. We do not accept claims for items with a manufacturer’s date of 2022 or earlier. However, if an original receipt can be provided showing purchase is within 1 year, we are happy to make an exception. We only accept items with a manufacturer's date of 2023-2024. 

 

Typically, we suggest working with the original place of purchase towards a replacement or credit. Usually they are able to assist on the spot and send any defective items to our Quality Assurance Department. If you are unable to work with the original retailer, we would be happy to assist you with a claim for inspection.  

 

If you are inquiring about a light up shoe, please first try pressing and holding the On/Off button for 5 seconds to restart the lighting mechanism. If you still have the issue, please move forward with your claim.

 

To submit your claim please email us at infocanada@skechers.com and include the following information in your email: 

  • Your contact information (name, mailing address, phone number, email address).
  • Reason for the claim.
  • Where did you purchase this product? (store name, city, and province)
  • When did you purchase / receive this product? (month, year)
  • Why were you not able to return or exchange the product / or reason for the refusal at the place of purchase?
  • Please provide a picture of your original receipt. (PDF/JPEG)
  • Please provide a clear picture of the full inner tag of the product containing the style information. This will be located on the tongue or the inner side of the shoe. (PDF/JPEG) 
  • Please provide a picture of the defect in question. (PDF/JPEG) 

 

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR CLAIM:

  • A claim will be authorized only if a manufacture’s defect is confirmed. We will contact you to arrange a personalized discount code that can be used on our website for the value paid of the merchandise.
  • Please do not throw out your product as you may be asked to destroy it. Do not destroy until asked. Failure to comply will void your claim.
  • Items considered to have signs of normal wear and tear by quality assurance will not be eligible for a claim.
  • Skechers does not provide reimbursements on defective products or comfort/sizing issues (see original receipt or with original retailer for reimbursement policies).
  • If for any reason the claim is not approved, a member of our team will contact you.
